Disney Transportation Operations Manager During 9/11
Her role as a Transportation Operations Manager began in 1999, but was put to the most significant test following 9/11. The chaotic days and months after the attacks demanded agility required effective change management. Julie, never one to lead from behind, worked shoulder-to-shoulder with her team when Disney instituted emergency main entrance bag checks on 9/12/2001.
Disney's Crossroads to Leadership, M.A. Organizational Leadership & Disney Corporate Trainer
In addition to her role as Transportation Guest Service Manager, Julie was chosen to join an elite team of "Disney Traditions" Facilitators after completing Disney's Crossroads to Leadership program. When Julie was not leading her team in the near-24 hour logistical operation, she taught an engaging class to ensure the Disney service legacy.
New Orleans Based Regional Disney Recruiter, during & immediate aftermath of Katrina
Julie’s leadership was put to the ultimate test as she led her Gulf South recruiting team in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Julie didn't hesitate to contribute to the sustainability of her region even while recovering from her own losses in the storm. Julie worked remotely, traveling and coaching her team from afar. She soon became a well-respected resource in her region & was tapped to speak and educate, and this experience ultimately served as a stepping stone to launching her own firm.
Firm Launch, Adjunct Tulane University Faculty, Board & Association Leadership
Launched originally as Willoz Consulting, Julie became a certified coach and rebranded her firm as 7602. She maintained an active leadership role as president of the Louisiana Association of Colleges & Employers and was brought on to teach in the College of Business with Tulane's School of Continuing Studies. The board of directors for the five star accredited Jefferson Chamber of Commerce recognized her business acumen and invited her to join.
President: Greater New Orleans Executive Association & Leadership Jefferson
Never resting on her laurels, Julie balanced her ongoing work with clients and serving the local business community as president of the Greater New Orleans Executive Association. Identified as respected connector and creative thinker, Julie was asked to join the Advisory Council for the city’s minor league baseball team, the New Orleans Babycakes. She completed Leadership Jefferson, a prestigious regional economic impact program and also became a sought after speaker at national conferences due to her straightforward and practical training methodology.
Hustle Goes International
Julie’s inner drive to serve and succeed is what allows her to power through her commitments: in 2018 she’s been elected to the International Executive Association, maintains an active leadership role in local economic development, serves her valued clients, all while raising two children as a single mom. No clever marketing copy here, this is simply Julie. Whether she is facilitating board retreats, inspiring young professionals, or leading performance management initiatives, her skills are on display.
